2021 Presidential Inauguration Tickets

On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, President-elect Joseph R. Biden will be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be sworn in as the 48th Vice President of the United StatesCongressman Eric Swalwell hopes to be able to distribute, via random drawing, a limited number of tickets for constituents from California’s 15th District to attend this Inaugural Ceremony.

Note: The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCICis responsible for the planning and execution of the Inaugural Ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol. Our office has not yet been provided with information regarding pending restrictions, attendance limits or social distancing requirements to protect attendees and prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) at the Inaugural Ceremonies.  We will share those updates as they become available.

Please read the following information carefully before submitting a request for tickets:

  • A limited amount of tickets will be available.
  • Tickets will be granted via a random drawing.
  • Only constituents of California’s 15th District are eligible to receive tickets through this drawing.
  • Tickets to the Inaugural Ceremonies are standing-room only. Tickets allow access to specific sections of the Capitol Grounds.
  • Ticket holders are responsible for their own transportation to and from Washington, DC, lodging, and all other trip expenses.
  • Only one entry per address and a maximum of four (4) tickets may be requested. 
  • Each individual must have a ticket, including children and infants.
  • Tickets are free of charge and may not be sold or given away.
  • The deadline to request tickets is Thursday, December 10th.
  • Tickets must be picked up in-person from Congressman Eric Swalwell’s Washington DC office by January 19th, 2021
